Marie has more than 15 years of experience as an architect, designer and project manager. She has a global perspective honed by working in seven countries and a commitment to sustainable architecture. Most recently, while working with a colleague at NK Architects, she designed Park Passive, Seattle’s first certified Passive House. The project was recognized with a National AIA award in the category of “Best Housing 2014.”

Marie holds a professional degree in architecture and a degree in environmental studies from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington. Her experience ranges from designing complex public-sector projects, to luxury houses and large multi-family mixed-use developments. She also worked as an architect in rural Ghana, where she designed clinics and schools for international donor agencies.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and children and is excited to live in Mexico City.
